Manager, Quality Assurance (Corporate Products)
Job Summary
The Manager, Quality Assurance (Corporate Products) leads the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of quality assurance practices supporting corporate technology products. This role is responsible for establishing testing standards, managing quality assurance resources, overseeing test environments, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality solutions. The position manages quality assurance team members, coordinates testing activities across projects and stakeholders, and drives testing automation, process improvement, and risk management efforts throughout the product lifecycle.
This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the quality assurance function for corporate products by establishing testing strategies, standards, automation practices, and processes that support reliable, secure, and compliant technology solutions.
- Oversee quality assurance activities throughout the product lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect management, risk assessment, and release readiness for all applications within Corporate Products.
- Manage testing environments, configurations, permissions, deployments, and test data to ensure teams can execute effective and efficient testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to align quality assurance strategies and execute end-to-end and integration testing initiatives.
- Partner with business, product, technology, vendor, and consulting teams to define requirements, assign and monitor work, communicate priorities, remove obstacles, and provide updates on testing progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and develop quality assurance team members through hiring, performance management, development planning, and ongoing communication of team priorities and organizational objectives.
What we need from you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software development, or technology delivery, including experience leading quality assurance teams and testing efforts.
- Experience supporting testing efforts for system integrations, and other business technology solutions through manual and automated testing practices.
- Proficiency with test management, automation, and quality assurance tools, including Application Lifecycle Management, Quality Center, GitHub, Postman, and similar platforms.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development environments.
- Experience managing vendor, consultant, and third-party relationships.
- Working knowledge of Structured Query Language, Extensible Markup Language, and application integration concepts.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles, software delivery processes, testing tools, and environment management practices.
- Experience planning, prioritizing, and managing multiple projects while balancing resources, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication (verbal, written, and presentation skills), and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence decisions, drive accountability, and support organizational change.
- Ability to analyze information, exercise sound judgment, and communicate recommendations effectively to both business and technical audiences.

- Experience supporting enterprise applications, and/or customer-facing technology platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, modern testing frameworks, and quality engineering practices.
- Experience implementing and expanding test automation programs.
- Experience with performance, load, accessibility, and security testing methodologies.
- Experience creating quality metrics and reporting programs that drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to mentor and develop future leaders within a quality assurance organization.
- Experience leading organizational change and process transformation initiatives.
Minimum qualifications:
