Job Summary

The Coordinator, Inclusive Communications supports the development and delivery of communication strategies that reflect AMC’s values of Leadership, Ownership, Communication, and Belonging for All. This role creates engaging content, manages communication platforms, and drives meaningful connections with associates by ensuring clear, inclusive, and creative messaging across the organization. 

This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.

What you will be doing:

  • Serve as the primary administrator of AMC’s Associate Engagement platform (Workvivo, powered by Zoom). Oversee content strategy, layout, and tagging to ensure timely and accurate communication. Provide associate support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with IT and vendor partners as needed.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute inclusive messaging across channels. Create content that reflects AMC’s voice and values while sharing important updates and initiatives across the company.
  • Design eye catching digital assets such as banners, graphics, and thumbnails aligned with AMC’s brand and representative of our diverse workforce. Collaborate with creative partners to ensure consistent storytelling and adapt materials for multiple formats.
  • Manage communication timelines and ensure campaigns meet deadlines and business outcomes.
  • Track communication metrics, compile monthly reports, and share insights to refine strategies and optimize content performance

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and basic video editing tools.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of inclusive communication practices, web accessibility standards, and content optimization for desktop and mobile.
  • Experience managing digital engagement platforms (Workvivo or similar).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft inclusive, engaging content.
  • Skilled in visual storytelling and creating digital campaign assets.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with senior leadership with professionalism and clarity.

What we also value (preferred):

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in internal communications, digital content management, or a related field
  • Experience supporting large-scale internal events, such as conferences or engagement activities, including promotion and communications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect and collaborate across teams and with external partners.
