Job Summary

The Analyst, Operational Finance supports financial planning, cash management, reporting, and operational analysis activities across the organization. This role develops financial and operational insights that support strategic decision-making, forecasting, and performance evaluation. The Analyst partners with stakeholders across Finance and business functions to deliver accurate reporting, maintain data integrity, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations that support business objectives.

This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.

What you will be doing:

  • Support global cash management and forecasting activities, including cash forecasting, liquidity monitoring, active cash management reporting, and debt compliance reporting.
  • Facilitate the preparation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cash management, forecasting, and executive reporting tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance operational, financial, and analytical reporting to support business performance and decision-making.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, analyses, and presentations for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and business insights.
  • Support monthly financial reporting processes, including Flash Financials and other management reporting deliverables.
  • Track and analyze strategic initiatives, operational performance metrics, and key business drivers.
  • Prepare analyses and supporting materials used in external reporting, investor communications, press releases, and financial filings.
  • Facilitate company statistical reporting, including maintaining, validating, and reporting asset counts and operational metrics.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data across reporting platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes by providing financial analysis and reporting insights.
  • Partner with Corporate Finance and cross-functional teams to support domestic and international reporting requirements.
  • Assist with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting activities to evaluate business performance and support strategic initiatives.
  • Research and analyze market trends, operational performance, and financial results to provide recommendations to management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, system functionality, and analytical capabilities.
  • Maintain reporting documentation, processes, and controls that support reporting accuracy and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to understand reporting needs and deliver meaningful business insights. 

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, business analysis, or a related field or AMC manager experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
  • Experience performing statistical, financial, and operational analysis.
  • Strong communication and business partnership skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data and analyses into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to gather, evaluate, interpret, and summarize information to support business recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What we also value (preferred):

  • Working knowledge of Oracle Analytics Cloud (OBI) and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Planning and Reporting solutions.
  • Experience performing financial analysis, financial modeling, and interpreting financial statements.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
  • Experience supporting cash management, treasury, liquidity, or forecasting activities.
  • Experience developing business intelligence, dashboard, and reporting solutions.
  • Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis processes within a multi-location or global organization.
  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting and presentation development.
  • Knowledge of operational performance metrics and key performance indicator reporting.
  • Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing reporting enhancements.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, modeling, and automation techniques.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to solve business challenges and influence decision-making.

Minimum qualifications:
